SSC CGL Syllabus-Tier-I, Tier II, Tier-III, and Tier IV
The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) exam is one of the most sought-after government job exams in India. The SSC CGL exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts in different ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.
The SSC CGL exam is divided into four tiers: Tier-I, Tier II, Tier-III, and Tier IV. Each tier has a different syllabus and exam pattern. In this blog, we will discuss the SSC CGL Syllabus 2023 for each tier.
SSC CGL Tier-I Syllabus 2023:
The Tier-I exam is a computer-based exam that consists of four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. The exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that are to be attempted in 60 minutes. The syllabus for each section is as follows:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: The questions in this section will test the candidate’s logical and analytical skills. The syllabus includes topics like analogies, coding and decoding, series, syllogism, puzzles, blood relations, and direction sense.
- General Awareness: The questions in this section will test the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs and general knowledge. The syllabus includes topics like history, geography, economics, polity, science, and technology.
- Quantitative Aptitude: The questions in this section will test the candidate’s mathematical and numerical ability. The syllabus includes topics like arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and data interpretation.
- English Comprehension: The questions in this section will test the candidate’s ability to understand and comprehend English. The syllabus includes topics like reading comprehension, sentence correction, error detection, and vocabulary.
